In partnership with Tree-Nation logo

For every garment or sports ball sold, we plant a tree in India or Nepal.

As a small socially and environmentally conscious business, RREPP has an estimated carbon footprint of approximately 52 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions per year.

Within the industries we operate, we know this is low, which is a testament to our business model of refusing to mass produce at the cost of people and the planet.

While RREPP has the ability to scale up on demand for large custom orders, our regular, in-between business operations remain as lean and sustainable as possible.

Most businesses talk about their goals to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, but from our perspective, this is far too late for the planet, and action is needed now.

Since January 1st 2022, RREPP has partnered with global non-profit organisation Tree-Nation to reduce our carbon footprint by planting a tree for every item we sell.

Based on our planting projections of 1,300 trees in our first year, RREPP will be a carbon neutral business offering 100% carbon offset products by the end of 2022; a minimum environmental standard we will continue to maintain into the future, even as we grow and our carbon footprint increases.

Through Tree-Nation, RREPP supports two reforestation and conservation projects that help restore forests, create jobs, support local communities and protect biodiversity:

Trees for Tribals, India

The Adivasi Bhatra, Gond and Abhuj Maria tribes rely on forests for food security and livelihood through the collection of forest produce. The project involves the planting of highly valued native trees in various villages, with the goal to help restore forests, enhance ecosystem services and the rural economy.

Eden Projects, Nepal

Eden began its Nepal Reforestation Project in 2015 to improve local livelihoods and restore forests in areas of critical importance. Eden has been working in 3 distinct regions across the country, including a partnership with Chitwan National Park; a World Heritage Site in Nepal. By partnering with the National Park system, Eden Projects is helping protect and create a reforested buffer zone vital to protecting animal habitat.

How it Works

Every time you buy from RREPP, we plant a tree in one of these forests on your behalf to help offset our CO2 emissions, fight climate change and transition towards a more sustainable future.
