RREPP's Fairtrade Sports Balls - Conquering Exploitation !

It's an uncomfortable topic to talk about. Yet child labour and adult exploitation, even today, remains a scourge on the sports ball manufacturing industry worldwide. And even though reports through the media surface occassionally exposing the industry for what it is, in a world full of injustices, the issue generally gets swept under the carpet as community uproar subsides back into complacency.

Yet for RREPP, conquering exploitation will always remain front and centre within our business objectives. We live in a very lucky country, and even though it's probably not a question Schools and Sporting Clubs ask themselves very often, perhaps the discussion of ethical purchasing should be a hotter topic than what it presently is.

Sport is something that we tell our kids is about fairness. It's something that whatever the differences are between communities and cultures across the world, the sporting field is a place where everyone is equal. It's a shame that this Fairness and Equality doesn't extend to the people, their families and communities in far away places who make the equipment we all love playing with.

So if you want your students or players enjoying sport with all its wonderful core values intact, why not also ensure it's not at the cost of someones elses freedom or basic rights. You can do this by purchasing Fairtrade certified Match quality sports balls from RREPP, where a percentage of every purchase also goes back to communities in need.

So if you would like to know more about how to get involved, then simply contact Scott at scott@rrepp.com.au. And ask about our 20% discounts for larger orders, plus our FREE ball branding offer for Schools and Sporting Clubs wanting to professionally add their logos. A great social justice initiative your Sponsors may even like to get involved in - coz the planet's watching !
